Blessed Brother Estephan Nehme (1889–1938) was a Maronite monk of the Lebanese Maronite Order, known for his extraordinary humility, obedience, and simplicity of life.
Born Youssef Nehme in the village of Lehfed, Lebanon, he entered the Lebanese Maronite Order as a lay brother. He spent his religious life in manual labour and prayer, working in the fields and the monastery with tireless devotion. He was known for his kindness to all who sought his help.
He was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI on June 27, 2010. His feast day is celebrated on August 30.
